The coaches of the 14U that allowed the players put on a terrible display of sportsmanship, should be accountable for what I witnessed.. They allowed their team to dance in the field, run backwards to bases, and run in slow motion .in the face of a losing/discouraging situation, for the losing team, during the game, for the losing team. They lost 22-0 isn’t that enough humiliation. To add insult to injury One of the players stuffed half the teams Batting gloves in the back of his pants. While up to bat and running to first base. And the umpire allowed this display an was laughing with the winning team. Not a once of class was displayed. And the coach knew this and did nothing to control it. The coach waited until final line up between players after the game to ask his players to have some class. If These kids will be our model for the future in the tuff world we're now living in where there is social and economical disparity. The display a I witness today shows why there is a lack of of understanding when our fellow citizens are left in disparity.
