The Salvation Army Camp and Outdoor Ministries-CA
Camp Kroc at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in San Diego is an ACA-accredited day camp for children ages 4 to 14 that runs 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday across ten summer weeks and during school breaks. Campers can ice skate, rock climb and swim at the center's own facilities, and the program is organized into general Kroc Adventures and Pee Wee camps plus specialty weeks in STEM, sports, arts and creative themes such as robotics, flag football, drama and cooking. All campers receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, and swimmers get a 40-minute daily lesson from certified instructors. A Junior Leaders track serves ages 15 to 17, and camp scholarships are offered.

Powered by GoogleWe have been coming for a year+ for swim. Have done group and private. Also did gymnastics. Everyone has been helpful and friendly. The swim staff and teachers are especially amazing.
The Joan Kroc fitness center offers a variety of fitness class. Worth a try
Lorien is a fantastic employee. I saw her doing well dealing with a difficult customer in front of me and she had seamless service with myself and others.
Prices go up, services are curtailed. The 19 year olds at the desk never know what’s going on. They should try paying fewer people more money to see if the organization flourishes. Or just continue to hope no one notices.
Sent my 6 year old to single day camp recently. I was so impressed by Beth, who welcomed and connected with her immensely. The staff seems to be very involved and she had a GREAT TIME! More fun than the ymca for sure. We’ll be back in summer. I also love to swim here! The pool is the perfect temp for me, very clean, and everyone is super friendly!
