Powered by GoogleCoach Alina always goes above and beyond! My daughter loves soccer but is very shy and has a hard time starting or trying new classes however coach Alina has gone above and beyond multiple times to make her feel more welcome!
The Lil Kickers program at Salmon Creek Indoor Sports Arena is our favorite part of our weekends - especially for my toddler! The classes are structured to give her the opportunity to learn skills that are helpful if she chooses to play football in the future, as well as off the field in general - listening to directions, waiting your turn, etc. We’ve been there for 2 sessions already and plan to continue indefinitely, as my daughter is a fan of the fun and lively atmosphere of the classes. Everybody at the front desk has been incredibly helpful, and they make it super easy to sign up and schedule makeups. Best part of all are the coaches who bring the energy and enthusiasm to each class - my daughter is a notoriously sassy and opinionated toddler and somehow, she listens to them and has fun - special shoutout to Coach Gabe who my daughter absolutely adores :)
They are completely disingenuous and will create any excuse not to accommodate minor changes, as proof by their reply. They note we have a flawless season but are ruining the chance for all of our children to play together for the last 3 games of the league. We as team changed schedules to help other teams field their full teams. We notified them as soon as we found out as another league that some of our kids play in on a Tuesday for the upcoming weekend. They first said the other team didnt want to facilitate a change cause we made them feel bad during a previous game. The other coach contacted them and said he would absolutely accommodate a change even if it had to be caught up as a double header. They then immediately contacted us and said if we didnt get back to them right away they would they would forfeit and a manager rudely acted like we could just drum up 5 player within hours and acted like we were inconveniencing them when we are just trying to keep our kids together for the final matches as they have had a flawless season and the children wanted to finish it out together. We told them we would not forfeit and try to get kids, we called back and asked if they could work out another weekend they said that because we already said we would field a team they wouldn't work towards any other options, completely ridiculous. They have plenty of options to be able to facilitate either a change of schedule for this weekend or for the next 3 weekends and when the manager told us she knew what she was doing was wrong and said I am just doing what "management says" like its some all seeing group making decisions, when its just an individual owner not willing to help find a solution over the next 3 weeks. Again inauthentic and disingenuous. The fact they cite their record and are breaking up the kids for the final games shows their care levels and how tone deaf the response is.
My first experience at this facility was an event for my granddaughter's birthday. We had the field for an hour then moved into a room for food and socializing. The field was nice, and seating was decent, but there was a discrepancy with what time we could have access to the room for decorating and prep. No one was booked before us, but we were refused access for the time agreed when booked due to an error of some kind. Instead of compromise or understanding, the staff was steadfast on keeping that room empty for some reason. Ultimately, it delayed the event, and staff started cleaning while we were still in there. Would I consider another event there? Only if someone else insisted on it.
My daughter has been in Little Kickers for over a year now and she loves it. The coaches are always very nice and the games are cute.
