Sahale Outdoors is an Indigenous-, veteran- and women-owned outdoor-education nonprofit in Fife that runs summer day camps and youth backpacking trips. Its Pinecones Summer Day Camp gives children ages 7-11 five days in Fife city parks exploring plants, animals and geology while learning map reading and shelter building, and a Tiny Trails camp runs at Salzmann Park. Youth backpacking trips are offered on a pay-as-you-can basis so cost does not exclude students, and the organization also teaches adult skills courses.

We went on a company and family retreat snowshoeing event put on by Sahale Outdoors! It was a great experience full of beautiful moments and fantastic weather! My family had never tried snowshoeing before. Our guides were informational, fun, and great with the kids! 1000/10 would do this again!

Glad I found this place thru a school flyer. So many opportunities for kids of all ages to experience the outdoors. My son (9) recently went on a snowshoeing trip and really enjoyed it.
