Camp Gallagher is a coed overnight camp for middle- and high-school teens on 155 acres of beach and forest along the South Puget Sound in Lakebay, run by the nonprofit Friends of Camp Gallagher and ACA-accredited. Sessions run six to nine days, with campers staying in cabins and taking part in arts and crafts, boating, hiking, and other traditional camp activities. Founded in 1970; now non-religious.

★★★★★Holly Dysserinck(Specifically about Grown Up Camp) I never went to summer camp as a kid; getting to experience this with friends as an adult over the last few years has been SO special. There are many options for activities so folks can choose their own adventure. The staff are amazingly accommodating and kind, making sure to individualize the experience as much as possible. The setting is UNMATCHED and I have loved going out on the paddle boards and enjoying time on the water to enjoy the scenic views. This camp has many wonderful traditions, which include group reflection time and campfire songs, all of which help me feel a huge sense of community and connection (with new friends and old!). The food is equally amazing, and I never eat as well as I do at Grown Up Camp. Can't wait for Camp 2026!

My friends and I use this as a yearly opportunity for a weekend to reconnect and is usually such a great start to the early summer! Gallagher is such a great place to get outdoors and refresh, we love the water activities and pretty much everything about it. The nights begin with campfire and we get to hang out and play games, relax, and enjoy the scenery. The food is always amazing, they are dog friendly, and they have always paired us up with friends to bunk together! The staff is always great and they create a very safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Overall, if you're looking for a great place to bring friends, reconnect in the outdoors, in a very semi-structured setting, this is a great option and highly recommend!!
