Definitely do NOT RECOMMEND! Played 3 years with SYA and ever since New board was voted in…has went down hill! They just want money and don’t care about kids! Thank goodness my son finally graduated out! Communication is absolutely the worst, end of year parties are boring(blame it on funding), kids can’t stay and play after practice, lights don’t get turned on after dark, bathrooms stay dirty, locked, or not working! Parents begs for rides knowing this is a commitment or drop their kids off like it’s daycare… no one enforces the rules. Complete joke! Take your time and RESEARCH. SYA HAS GONE DOWNHILL

Absolutely DO NOT SIGN YOUR CHILD UP FOR CHEER HERE . My 4 year old was bullied by ADULTS all season and instead of TIFFANY cheer director and Cheer COACH addressing ANY of the problems with me as the mother she let the “Team” mom and others bully my kid and when I said something the board secretary told me my kid was a problem and that I didn’t even attend practice whenever I have sat at every single practice all season long!!! This place is BIASED OF BOARD MEMBERS AND THEY ARE DISCRIMINATIVE . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE .

Definately the worst expierence with my son playing 8u right now. Coaches only playing certain players the entire game and at least 10 kids sit on sideline not being switched out. Paid 250 for signs up then had to pay another REQUIRED 50for "raffles" or my son couldnt play until it was paid. Then another 105 for a pibk jersey and duffle. Asked beforehand if coaches would be biased if their sons were on team, was told no and low and behold, their focus is only on them. Worst decision so needless to say next year we will be signing up at another YA. Just an all around terrible expierence and definately feel like a money grab considering 1st game isnt til tomorrow and they continue asking for money

Going on year 3 and little sister will be joining also. Excellent coaches that really care AND get results. Tough love at its finest! We love SYA.
