Powered by GoogleI enrolled in SwimLabs’ adult beginner swim lessons because I had never learned how to swim and was looking for structured instruction. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. The instructor I enrolled with was not present for either class I attended, and I had a different substitute instructor each week. During my first lesson, the instructor arrived late, which reduced an already short 30-minute session. The classes also included students with vastly different skill levels, making it difficult for a true beginner to receive focused instruction. As a first-time swimmer, I was repeatedly asked what I wanted to work on, which was frustrating because I was paying for professional guidance and did not know where to begin. The instruction felt unstructured, and there was little continuity from one lesson to the next. After two classes, I decided the program was not the right fit and requested to cancel. I was disappointed by how the cancellation was handled as well. I have since enrolled in a community center beginner swim program and immediately noticed a significant difference in the quality, structure, and consistency of instruction. My first lesson there was more informative and confidence building than my entire experience at SwimLabs. While others may have a different experience, I would not recommend this program to adults who are complete beginners and looking for structured swim instruction.
Great swim school. My son has learned a lot. The teachers and staff are patient and kind. They are very welcoming and professional! We love it here ❤️❤️❤️
I cannot recommend SafeSplash Swim School based on our experience. My son, who has autism, attended through a state waiver program. Despite billing being the school’s responsibility, I repeatedly received payment notices and aggressive emails asking me to pay out of pocket. I was told to disregard them, which created unnecessary stress. As his funding was nearing its end, I asked multiple times when his last class would be. Staff said only the owner, Brad Hansen, had that information, but no one ever followed up. After driving 45 minutes to attend class during severe weather, we were informed—without prior notice—that his final class had already passed and he was no longer scheduled. There had been no communication at all. Additionally, unused make-up classes due to closures and illness were never addressed. This experience showed a lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. Families—especially those navigating special needs services—deserve clear communication and accountability. - The picture attached, showed they knew since 3/12/2026 our last lesson day and on 4/22/2026 we were just kicked out of the school with no notification
My child absolutely loves his classes here, and the progress he’s made has been incredible to watch. He recently earned the Safe Swim reward for mastering key swim safety skills, which was such a proud moment for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality swim lessons for kids or even for themselves!
We've done swim lessons at so many different places. This is the first place that my son has made progress. They were open to hearing about his struggles with water prior to him starting and were patient with him, not forcing him to do anything he was uncomfortable with. After only a few lessons, he's already leveled up. We love Natalie. She is fantastic with my son and is so encouraging. So happy I tried them out. Highly recommend!
