As far as mid atlantic mountains go, Roundtop is probably the best one we've been to. Very wide mountain with many lifts and runs for all skill levels. Even on a Presidents Day Monday with parking lots full none of the lift lines were longer than a minute or two in the middle and left part of the mountain. The green side may have had longer kid lines but for a busy holiday weekend, not bad!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ski Roundtop!! The ski school was perfect for first time skiers and more advanced skiers too. Instructors were positive and enthusiastic with students. The encouragement and confidence building was amazing. The ski areas were well thought out and lines moved quickly and efficiently from magic carpets to chairlifts. Food at the lodge was delicious and there were enough options to satisfy even our picky eater. Tables were a bit cramped but understandable due to the volume of people. Serving lines moved steadily. Overall a wonderful experience.

The mountain has changed over the decades with new owners, however its still a nice local place to ski. There are affordable ways to do it, but skiing will never be cheap. Snow was good. All terrain was open. My grandkids are learning and enjoying.

Came here from Toronto, great set of hills. Lots of fun, although very expensive. Slightly Icey hills but overall a good spot

This is the best thing to do for the wintertime for your child. There is snow tubing, skiing lessons, and lots more things that guarantee fun. You’ll strive through the snow and see your child get taught how to ski from an instructor, and watch yourself have fun in this wonderland.
