Very disappointing experience. My 13-year-old son completed the previous swim level and moved to the next group. Due to health reasons, he missed the first class. We informed the staff in advance that he has medical conditions, including Type 1 diabetes, and is still physically adapting to training. At the next lesson, he became exhausted during the swim exercise. Instead of helping or explaining the exercise again, the instructor raised her voice and told him: “You should have attended the first class. I already explained it.” A child who misses one class for medical reasons should not be treated this way. The front desk staff were also dismissive and unhelpful. We requested either a transfer to a more suitable group or a refund, since the class format we originally registered for online was apparently not actually available. Instead of trying to help, the staff acted irritated and made us feel uncomfortable while we communicated through a translator because we are still learning English. No empathy, no professionalism, and no real attempt to resolve the issue. Very disappointed with the service and attitude overall.

We’ve had a very disappointing experience with this swim program. Our son has been taking both private and group lessons here for over a year. During that time, he’s been assigned four different instructors—none of which was our choice—resulting in a complete lack of consistency. Despite already knowing how to swim when he started, he has made little to no progress. After a full year of weekly lessons, he is still in the small pool rather than advancing to the lap pool, which really highlights the lack of development. Scheduling has been another major issue. It took us months to secure a spot, yet it was incredibly easy to lose it. Instead of a smooth re-enrollment process, families are required to re-enroll every single month. This month, our scheduling coordinator was apparently changed without any notice, and we were never informed that we needed to re-enroll. When I contacted the facility, I was casually told that our son was no longer enrolled—no warning, no communication, no accountability. Overall, the lack of organization, communication, and basic customer service is extremely frustrating. There seems to be very little respect for students and families, which is unacceptable for a program like this.

Amazing public pools in such a great location! At the far south end of the Rose Bowl Stadium parking lot, there’s two large pools and one small one. I’ve been here twice, having had an uncrowded and enjoyable time on both occasions. The pools are well maintained and while popular with a full parking lot, there still seems to be adequate space to swim! Great after taking in the local loop trails, especially in warmer weather! While in the area, kids may also enjoy going to the Pirate Park. The whole family may partake as well at the nearby Brookside Park.
