Robotics for Kids, run by Hadoop Express at 1055 Parsippany Boulevard, offers a robotics summer camp plus after-school classes for K–5, middle and high school students ages 5 to 16. Kids learn robotics, coding and software development using LEGO WeDo, LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and Raspberry Pi, and the centre trains students for FIRST LEGO League tournaments. Courses are levelled: Wizard-1 (ages 5–10) is the LEGO robotics foundation and prerequisite, Wizard-2 (grade 5 and up) is an advanced Mindstorms EV3 program, and Coding+ (ages 10+) teaches programming through practical Raspberry Pi projects.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Robotics for Kids directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleThis summer, I drove by their sign that said "FREE ROBOTICS CLASS" somewhere. It unquestionably caught my eyes. My kid only attended one class but he enjoyed it to the fullest and kept asking me to take him back. Instructors seemed amiably professional. I felt obliged to put in a good word for them because living approximately 30 miles away makes it hard for us to go back to their regular classes. If you are a local parent who is looking for some after-school activity for your kids, I suggest you check them out.
