River's Edge Theatre Company runs Page to Stage, a two-week theatre camp for ages 5-10 in which campers learn basic acting, storytelling, and playwriting and then write, rehearse, and perform an original play from scratch. Days open with body, voice, and imagination warm-ups and include workshops in crafting, creative movement, stage combat, and costume design, with lunch held outdoors when weather allows and a final performance for families on the Friday of each session. RETCo is a nonprofit founded in 2019 by theatre artists David and Meghan Covington and is based in Hastings-on-Hudson.

Powered by GoogleHad a wonderful time seeing Off With Her Head! last Friday with fellow BEAS alumni. We came out to support our AA's Executive Director, who continues to shine both onstage and in his leadership of our community. River’s Edge Theatre Company created such a welcoming atmosphere — the gallery was beautiful, and the space felt really cozy.
River's Edge Theater Company is such a gem! The talent on stage is incredible, and it is clear how much care and passion goes into every detail, from the acting and direction to the community engagement and programming. We recently saw Peek-a-Boo, and the production was thoughtful, creative, and full of heart. We loved the local history that was woven into the stories! If you're looking for memorable performances, innovative programming, and a truly community-focused arts organization, River's Edge is a must-support!
I recently saw River’s Edge Theatre Company’s production of Peek-A-Boo at the Bethany Arts Community in Ossining, and it was a fantastic experience. The show featured engaging audience interaction, outstanding performances, and plenty of unexpected surprises. I was especially impressed by the clever use of the performance space... the action unfolded across different areas of the building, and hearing bits of the show happening in nearby rooms made the experience even more immersive. Highly recommend!
We had a great time at the Peek a Boo experience! We love immersive theater and this experience didn’t disappoint. The actors and atmosphere were incredible and I would highly recommend the River’s Edge troupe for future shows and experiences. Keep up the excellent work!
My kids just finished the summer page to stage program and absolutely loved it – it was their first experience with live theater and We got to see such a Beautiful new confident and creative side to them. I have also had the pleasure of seeing a few of the adult productions and am continually moved and delighted. I can’t say enough good things about Meghan and David of RETCo and the wonderful community they have created and continue to grow ❤️
