The pool is too small and never open. If you move to this area don't expect to enjoy this amenity. When you do go there and it is open you will have to wait in line. On top of that the staff/ life guards are pretty rude. I've tried to get ahold of someone at the YMCA before and no one ever calls back. Hopefully a change comes soon.

I’ve been a new tenant in the area for a few months and wanted to use the fitness center, so I got my forms signed by my landlord. When I came to the front desk, there was this girl with dark red/purplish hair who was not the most intelligent person to work the front desk. First, she ignored me when I came in and took a while to assist. When I brought out the form, she asked me to fill out the housemates section and I told her I only know their first names and not last names and I don’t know any of their birthdays. She gave me a confused and weird look. She asked me if I was the landlord when obviously the form had the landlord’s name and my name which she did not take the time to read. I told her that I’m the only tenant who wants to use the fitness center, then told me to just fill out my name. After that, she asked me to download the app. I asked if this app was only applicable to this location as I was curious if I can go to other places to work out and she said yes. Turns out when I downloaded the app, there was other fitness centers as options, so she was wrong. Then, she asked me to take a picture. I told her that I don’t look the best and if I can get it retaken later. She says that in order to create an account, I have to take a picture which I wasn’t denying to do. She obviously didn’t understand the question. Once I looked around the place, she called me back and told me how long my lease is. I answered month-to-month, then she asked me if I have to sign a new lease every month. I kept explaining what a month to month lease is and she doesn’t understand. This girl clearly has no common sense and is incompetent to do her job. I asked if there was a manager around and she said that she was the manager which is hard to believe. It felt like I was talking to a brick walk the entire time I was conversing with her. This place needs to do a better job at hiring qualified individuals, not dummies like this.

The rec center is OK, not great for working out very crowded in the mornings. But the park is beautiful, and there’s plenty of walking paths this beautiful scenery

Great to have the gym open with the new rules after Covid-19. Staff is great, and they are following state guidelines to keep us safe while us to stay fit. Hopefully they start allowing more of the equipment to be used that’s cordoned off.
