Powered by GoogleVery attractive YMCA with great facilities and exceptional staff. Big pool, nice basketball gym (though it looks you now need to bring your own ball), 1/8 mile indoor track, ample personal workout space and a good weight room(s). Upper-body section could use more plates as supply gets pretty tight with multiple people working out. All bumper plates, which is nice. Excellent circuit of exercise machines geared toward older folks and there are always classes going on.
It’s really fun. I love to swim. The pool is pretty big me and my cousin are going, but this isn’t my first time going. I like the sprinklers they have in the water. Also, good job.
I love how family oriented this place is and it has different levels of equipment so you never have to worry about the Gym getting full ! There’s always space to go somewhere else. The staff/people are so nice at the front desk. Freckles is my favorite.💪
This is the nicest Y I've ever been to! I'm a visiting member from Des Moines. The staff here is great! They've been so very helpful. There appears to be childcare here as well, though I'm not sure what those hours are. I love that each floor has something different to offer. The pool is on the ground floor. The cardio machines, spin studio, basketball court, and e-gym are on the second floor along with some weight machines. The track and free weights and more machines are on the third floor along a terrace overlooking the Mississippi River. The machines and other equipment are super modern unlike other locations. I also like that some of them keep count for you. Very cool that they use washable towels here to wipe everything down instead of paper towels. Most notable to me is the e-gym. You're set up with a trainer who will assess your goals. You get a fob to connect to the machines which will prepare the machine at the weight and reps that your trainer has set for you. I've spoken to several members that use the e-gym and they all agree that it's made a huge difference. Honestly, this is my favorite Y, by far!
My wife and I were visiting the Quad Cities for the weekend and went to this location for a quick workout. The staff was friendly and honored our membership from our local Y. I was pleased that this process was quick and easy. The facility had everything you could want. There were several floors worth of great equipment, machines, free weights, etc. The sauna in the men's locker room was out of order, but the steam room was open, so I took advantage of that instead. I was happy to try that out as my local Y doesn't have one. Overall, it's a very impressive facility!
