There's not a culturally diversed atmosphere, and the heavy bag is down which the whole reason I went. But it is clean, and I was able to use an assisted pull up machine, which was cool. 2 floors, with cardio machines upstairs.

I travel all around the country on business and I'm a fanatic about training so I visit multiple Y's throughout the country. This is the best equipped Y I've ever been to and I can't believe I only live a mile away! Very friendly/helpful staff and incredibly clean. They just got in new weight plates too.

This Y is a great facility if you want to work out with cardio, free weights or mechanical weight machines. It does not have basketball courts or a pool. But if you want to work out it’s a great place. It’s well used but not to the point it’s crowded and there are not long waits for pieces of equipment. The staff is great. Heather Carrol is a personal trainer here and she is fabulous.

My favorite gym by far it’s always clean and cold in the summer time. I have kids so they provide daycare while I workout and most gyms in the area do not have a place that watches your kids including the new Bettflex. I also like the fact that you have to be 14 or older to workout here so it more of a adult atmosphere. It’s always busy but I never have a problem getting on a piece of equipment. I highly recommend this gym if your new to the area and looking for a good gym.

I love this gym!! Has what you need plus more, the staff are friendly. The daycare part is what hooked me on making this my home gym I'm willing to drive the 20 minutes because my daughter has separtion anxiety and is teething so the baby sitters do a really good job on making her feel comfortable as much as possible and has plenty of things and toys for all ages! Those ladies deserve a gold star, the other ymca downtown dreaded when I dropped my daughter off so in glad these sitters don't give me the stink eye and makes me feel good that I can have a good workout while I know my daughter is in good hands!
