The Providence Performing Arts Center runs Next Stop Broadway, a one-week musical theatre day program for ages 10-17 taught by Broadway professionals. Campers train in singing, acting and dance and perform on the historic PPAC stage. An advanced ENCORE track is offered for experienced high-school students.

★★★★★Sheba ThoneI went to PPAC for Wicked with a group of friends. Of course I loved the show; that was my 3rd time seeing it. But aside from the show, PPAC is a great venue. It's in a good location so it's easy to dine before/after a show. They have good concessions. The seats are comfortable. The staff is helpful. I feel it's an easy venue to get into and out of. There's tons of parking nearby that's not too expensive. I think it's worth it to see a show there if you can.

Saw Riverdance in April 2025 and would recommend anyone that has a chance to see the show, not to pass up the opportunity. Parking and traffic is horrible. The garage across the street is over $50 for a couple of hours of show time. It was pouring out so we took this option but there is no sign of the cost until you park and go to the kiosk to pay. By that time your going to pay it but it was a shock.
