Professional Youth Theatre runs a four-week musical theatre summer camp for students entering roughly 2nd through 8th grade, meeting weekdays 9:30am-4:00pm at 75 E. Walnut Street in Long Beach from late June through late July. Mornings cover training and the afternoon block (12:45-4:00pm) is rehearsal for a full-length musical - Frozen for the 2026 season - staged in the PYT Ballroom Theatre at the end of camp, with Broadway guest artists workshopping with students during the summer. Early care from 8:00am and after care past 4:00pm are available at $17/hour, and an optional daily lunch plan costs $300. A separate summer experience is offered for high schoolers.
