Powered by Google⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough great things about this gym! The coaches truly care about each athlete, not just their skills but also their confidence, growth, and success. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging, and feels like family. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile for their athletes. You can see the dedication and passion they put into every practice and competition. If you’re looking for a cheer gym that develops strong athletes while building character and confidence, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love this gym! I adore everyone who works here, every one is friendly and welcoming! PSA is definitely the place to be!
Before I get started, I want to make it clear that I’m not a disgruntled parent — I simply want to share my experience and spread awareness for other families considering this gym. We were at this gym for three seasons. During the first couple of seasons, there were a few minor issues, but nothing major. Unfortunately, this last season was very disappointing and really opened my eyes. My child loved being here, but over time I began noticing behavior that concerned me. I felt that favoritism played a big role in how athletes were treated. Despite my child’s tumbling experience and skills, she was often placed in the back of routines, while other athletes seemed to receive more opportunities and recognition. Communication from owners and management was also frustrating. There were multiple times when concerns and messages were ignored, which left me feeling unheard as a parent. Another concern was the competitiveness surrounding solos and awards. At times, it felt like certain athletes consistently received advantages, particularly children connected to staff or team leadership. Even at the end-of-year banquet, many of the same families appeared to receive the majority of awards for the third season in a row. I also felt that negative behavior between kids was not always addressed appropriately, which created an environment I was no longer comfortable with. Lastly, I was concerned to learn information about someone working in the daycare area involving alleged dishonesty about professional credentials in the past. As parents, safety and trust are extremely important when choosing where our children spend their time. Every family’s experience may be different, but for parents who value open communication, fairness, and advocacy for their child, I think it’s important to ask questions and stay involved.
It took us a while to find our daughter’s true passion—we tried ballet, tap, soccer, basketball, and even sideline cheer before discovering Powerstride Athletix. From the moment she joined PSA’s rec program, something just clicked. After a few seasons of recreational cheer, we decided to take the leap into the prep level, and it’s been one of the best decisions we've made. Watching her grow this past season has been nothing short of incredible. Every time she hit the mat, she gave it her all—and it showed. Her confidence has soared, and it’s been such a joy to witness her hard work pay off. She recently made one of the gym’s elite teams, and she couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. The coaches at PSA strike the perfect balance—they push the kids to be their best, but they do it in a way that builds them up, not breaks them down. The culture here is supportive, disciplined, and inspiring. We are truly grateful to everyone at Powerstride who has poured into our daughter’s development—not just as an athlete, but as a person. Highly, highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a place where your child can grow, shine, and find their passion.
You will not find a better gym for you child than PowerStride! The coaches treat all the kids like they are theirs. My daughter has grown so much over the past 4 years. In the last year it has changed owners, it has been the best thing to happen to the gym! If your child (boy or girl) loves cheer or tumbling this is the place for them!
