Membership-based club. Beautiful location under Key Bridge and next to the Capitol Cresent Trail. Parking can be hard. Has locker rooms with showers, kitchen, and space to rent. Beautiful place to scull or crew with great views from the water of Georgetown University, Rosslyn, Kennedy Center, Watergate, and river-side nature.

Get here early for parking in the alleyway. Beautiful views. About Founded in 1869, Potomac Boat Club is the oldest rowing club in the Washington, D.C. area and one of the best known in the country. It is home to some 300 senior members, ranging from recreational rowers to Olympic athletes. PBC hosts several successful competitive programs for scullers and sweep rowers, and serves as the home of Arlington’s Washington-Liberty High School crew, one of the first public schools to have a rowing program.

I parked out front for a second waiting for my friend to arrive and this lady Doris came out and literally made me move one spot over because it was the pbc spot even though the whole lot was full. Very petty but I moved the car. Doris if you read this good job thanks for having me start and move that car even though I left five minutes later.

The 555-foot-high Washington Monument is a city symbol that can be seen all over the city. When I was looking at the Washington Monument from the top of the bridge by the Potomac Boat Club at dusk and I could see a row of boats back from the river.

Shaggy, awesome, fierce, committed, private, but affordable. Not Maralago. Think sports club. There are 30 rowing machine that live in the ballroom. My club and team mates really do bleed red. There's a waiting list to join but the fees are humane, acceptable, affordable, and rewarded.
