Kids After Hours Forest Knolls
Last checked August 2026
Kids After Hours runs before and after school care inside Forest Knolls Elementary in Silver Spring for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Morning care starts at 7:00am and runs until school begins, and afternoon care runs from dismissal until 6:30pm with homework time, a snack, games, crafts and sports. Families choose AM care, PM care or both on the weekdays they need at a monthly rate, and drop-in care and Friday evening Kids Night Out events are also offered. The family-run operator, founded in 1989, accepts Maryland child care subsidies and offers its own scholarships.
