Porch Light Studio, Stage & Schools runs summer musical theatre camps at its Glen Rock studio for children roughly ages 4-18. Programs are age-banded: Kinder Stars for ages 4-6, Best of Broadway Jr. camps for ages 6-10, and Rock on Broadway workshops for middle and early high schoolers ages 11-15, with high school and college internships for ages 15 and up. The studio also runs school-based programming and mainstage productions.

When you have a child with a learning disability, you worry that your child may be overlooked or not accepted. From the moment she walked in, Maddie felt welcomed. The instructors helped and encouraged her, and the children were inclusive and friendly. She has now done their summer camp, fall show and just finished the spring performance. I can honestly say that Porch Light brought out the best in her & she loves it there.

We were not easy to schedule but PL worked with us via email and phone calls. Just the amount of legwork to get the program together deserved 5 stars. But once we got there, it went to another level. My girls came out of their shells and just had fun for 90 minutes while trying something new. Thank you!
★Desus RothsteinI had a very hard time with this place. My ex-wife signed my daughter up for classes and a performance. For some reason, the person at the main desk would treat me like I was a nuisance and a creep and was given a cold and sarcastic attitude. I’d call to ask about my daughters rehearsal and performance times and I’d be given the run around and ultimately told I’d receive a call back or an email- not once did that happen. I missed my daughters performance, which was clearly the intention of the lady on the phone. I’m used to being treated as a second class parent, but I’ve never been treated with such disrespect as I was by Porch Light. It’s hard enough being a divorced Dad, but having a complete stranger go out of their way to make you feel like a pariah is gut wrenching.
