The Police Athletic League's Harlem Center runs PAL's Summer Day Camp, offered free of charge to children ages 5-13 in communities facing high rates of poverty and crime. Over seven weeks, campers move through a rotating schedule of academic enrichment, arts learning and physical fitness, including sports fundamentals instruction and team athletic tournaments. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. The summer opens with a citywide PAL Carnival and closes with Culture Day, where children present project-based work on the summer's citywide educational theme.

★Jackie BrownThe adults that run this facility are colorist, yes you read that correctly! The counselors in charge of keep the children from arguing, can’t even control the children. This place is a joke and a waste to the community! I would not recommend trusting these unprofessional young adult with anything. The only thing they know how to do is hire the family to run the facility into the ground!

As far as the staff goes there are a lot of young people who work here and may not have the patience to work with young Kids. That is a training issue. Overall he has not had a bad experience going to this pal summercamp program. .
★★S DavisThe program director J. Bonilla has a nasty attitude. She talks about children and staff. Runs the P.A.L. Like a circus. The staff that is there now are very unprofessional, angry ,and yell at the children often and shouldn’t be aloud to work with children. Question your children when they attend pal on manhattan avenue. This place needs to be shut down until they get professional staff who actually like children! They gym instructor is also too touchy feely with the little girls at times
