Pinnacle Retreat Center near Clayton hosts Camp Pinnacle, a missions-focused Christian overnight summer camp for girls owned by the Georgia Woman's Missionary Union. Running in June and July for girls from first grade through high school, it combines Bible study and world-missions learning with campfires, swimming, archery, nature hikes and outdoor living skills, in a full-service facility in far northeast Georgia.

★★★★Darth PlagueisRecently came back from that place several hours ago, even though I was disappointed my church group only booked it for one day, it was pretty good. I loved the food, the staff were pretty friendly and professional. Although the cabin where I was at for one night, cabin 5, could use a little cleaning up. The first thing I saw when I entered, was a crusty dead millipede like bug on the floor. But, thank god it wasn't infested at all. Though I was also disappointed realizing the pool was closed at this time. Looked nice enough to go for a swim, maybe next time if my church group decides to do this again in the summer, and hopefully stay more than a single day.
