★★★★★Chiquita JohnsonI want to give a sincere thank you to Mr. Alvin and Mr. O’Neil at the YMCA on Pierson Rd in Flint. My son experienced muscle pain so intense that it caused him to pass out and required an ambulance examination. Getting a phone call like that immediately sends a parent into panic, and I definitely was. Mr. Alvin handled the entire situation with such calm professionalism. Until I arrived, he was attentive to my son, kept me informed, and his calm demeanor truly helped steady the situation when everything felt overwhelming. What meant just as much was receiving a follow-up call from Mr. O’Neil the next day to check on my son and see if our family needed any support. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the people working there. Moments like this remind you how important it is to have responsible, compassionate adults around our kids. I’m truly grateful for how they handled everything and for the care they showed my son.
★Traveling ThruI don’t even wanna give it a one star very disappointed in this YMCA there are so many things that need to be addressed in regards to the upkeep of the amenities in this building. I had to cancel my membership.

★Jim SakalisI'm Very disappointed with this YMCA The men shower stinks they hardly ever have soap dispensaries that are full they're usually empty or not working. The hot tub jets don't all work. A lot of equipment is worn out. there's not enough room for stretching and overall can't seem to even have the lights working at the street sign and landscaping is neglected. they claim to serve up free coffee but it's hardly ever available I'd rather pay more Then continue going to this disgusting place.the staff is friendly though, but not very accommodating to my concerns.
