Powered by GoogleI don’t understand how there are two reviews I have read already about the instructor not being the nicest or most patient. One was 2 years ago and one was 5 months ago. I hope it’s not the same person. What is going on in there and why is this not being addressed and ignored in the reviews as well. I won’t recommend this place or take my children there just on that alone. Yall have parents night out and school break camp with reviews like this?
My 2 year old loves going to gymnastics here with the parent and tot class. She has been going for about a year. Her favorite teachers are Meegan and Margaret!
This review is based of our experience with the preschool instructor (an older white lady). The facility is nice and we were really excited for my daughter to start her first gymnastics class. We arrived 20 minutes early to get familiar with the space. She was so excited to start and meet new friends. Unfortunately, the instructor showed up late, didn’t introduce herself, or acknowledge any of the parents. She simply closed the door and began the class without any welcome or explanation. As a parent watching through the glass, I could see how impatient and dismissive the teacher was. This was her very first time in any type of class like this, and it was heartbreaking to see her just sit on the floor, waiting her turn, only to be the last one to participate. The teacher showed no effort to guide or encourage her and appeared visibly frustrated. Near the end of class, my daughter was made to cry by the instructor’s harsh tone while trying to do the exercises. When I asked what happened, the teacher told me “she wasn’t following directions.” I explained it was her first time, and she responded with, “I know.” She said if she stopped crying, she could return to class and get a sticker, but she was too upset. At the end, the teacher handed stickers to every child except mine and left without any follow-up or care. She simply turned off the lights and walked out, leaving us standing there. This was supposed to be a positive introduction to gymnastics, but instead, it was an upsetting and discouraging experience for my daughter. First-time students deserve patience, encouragement, and a welcoming environment—none of which we experienced here. I do not recommend this place for beginners or anyone looking for a nurturing atmosphere.
Paulding Gymnastics has failed me and my daughter. My daughter has been doing tumbling and gymnastics for a bout 3 years now. Got to mention the tumbling Coach Mr. Bill is amazing. The coaches that my daughter had for gymnastics weren’t really there to teach they were really only there for a paycheck it seemed. But anyways all of a sudden they had a rate increase. Failed to tell me that they were increasing in may when I registered her for the fall class and didn’t find out til the day she was going back to class of the increase. It’s very unprofessional like. Lady told me that they just decided to go up in June and I look back at my emails and they have the original price I was paying and then you scroll over and see the new price but it’s very deceiving. You should have took the old rate off. That’s not how you do business.
Stellar experience at Paulding Gymnastics. My daughter participates in the tot time and older daughter is enrolled in class. I enjoy the fact that there a viewing area that allow parents to view without disturbing the learning environment. Prices are reasonable as well.
