Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation runs a summer sailing program at Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, taught in Optimists, Sabots, Lasers and CFJs across four levels from beginner to advanced. Sessions are two weeks long, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, with four sessions across the summer plus Thursday-evening racing for participants. Sailors are ages 8-18, must be confident swimmers, and beginners take a swim test on the first day; most instructors hold US Sailing instructor certification.
