The Oxford Community Center runs a nature-based recreational summer program out of the Carbuncle Beach House, where children spend the day with access to Carbuncle Pond, a splash pad, a playground and hiking trails. The program runs from late June through mid-August with both full-day and half-day options, and families can book an entire week or pick individual days across the summer. Children must be entering grade 1 in the fall to be eligible, sibling discount rates are available, and fees are due the week before attendance. Slots are limited and the town notes they fill quickly; the program was voted Macaroni Kid's Best Summer Camp/Program in Oxford in 2024 and 2025.
