Ovation Academy runs musical theatre camps throughout the summer at the Madison Street Theater in Oak Park, each rehearsing and staging a licensed show — Peter Pan Jr., Disney’s Moana Jr., The Jungle Book KIDS and others — through theater games, singing, dancing and acting, and ending in a ticketed public performance. Full-day camps run Monday–Friday 9:00am–3:00pm for ages about 10–14; half-day camps run 8:30–11:30am for ages 5–10, and four-day mini camps run 12:30–3:30pm. A four-week Summer Academy intensive and a technical theater camp working backstage on the summer productions are also offered. No prior experience is required; enrolling a second camp or a sibling takes 10% off, and payment plans are available.
