Outpost Recreation and Education Inc.

Outpost Summer Camps runs two-week, Monday-to-Friday day camps in San Diego: a Day Camp for children entering grades K-5 and Senior Outpost for entering grades 6-9, which swaps some on-site time for a daily excursion. Both run 8:45am-3:15pm and include a daily swim at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, where every camper's swimming is individually evaluated on the first day of each session. Four sessions cover 15 June to 7 August 2026 at $1,350 (K-5) or $1,600 (6-9) per two-week session, with optional AM/PM extended hours ($100 each) and a Carmel Valley school-bus route ($200); electronics, including phones and smart watches, are prohibited. The camp is ACA-accredited, a WAIC member, and offers full and partial camperships for qualifying families.

My son liked it last summer but did not this time and unfortunately we wont be back. When the days are hot (85-90 or 90+) they cant pivot based on the location for shade and let the kids cool off. My son was coming home beet red most days due to heat. The activities dont rotate/change year to year - so for kids that have done the camp once they might be bored the next time around
