TL;DR June 17th warm water *Wear a long sleeve swim shirt *Pay for the best tube with paddles *Go with the dry bag *Stop and reapply sunscreen on the shore after your first set of rapids We had a great time, but the whitewater tubing requires a LOT of arm paddling. We got the blue tubes with cup holders and backrest, but several in our party had abrasions on their arms from the seams ofnthe tubes rubbing while paddling. Wish we would have paid the extra $5 ($10 more than the base tube) for the ones with paddles. Would have saved our energy and our skin. The length of time was perfect. We were all ready to be done. From departure to return was right at 2.5 hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice being unattended while tubing. We brought our own dry bag and it was helpful to carry our car keys and cells phone instead of paying $5 for a locker. If you want to take your own photos, bring something to keep a camera/Phone dry because you don't get any photos for the whitewater tubing. We got more sun than expected, and we should have stopped halfway and reapplied sunscreen. (After the first set of rapids would have been the best because there are some sandy areas on the left bank). Rapids were mostly class 1, we never saw anything that approached class 2 or 3, but the water seemed low (Mid June, 85 degrees outside). The water was a great temperature and felt refreshing, not cold at all. The facilities were nice. We didn't get to eat at the ale house because they didn't open until 12pm, but the menu looked good and the offered a free beer with an entree. Plenty of restrooms and changing stalls made it easy to get changed afterwards. Lots of supplies to purchase if you didn't bring your own but cheaper to get your own in advance. Merch was pretty expensive, but to be expected. Would definitely recommend, but make sure you're prepared for some physical exertion. If you have kids and want to make a full day, book your tubing ahead online and do the package that includes the water park (otherwise it's another $35/person to add it later)

We had a great experience at River Riders Family Adventure Resort! The white water tubing was fun, the weather was beautiful, and we all enjoyed our day. We would definitely come back. The only improvement I would suggest is adding proper showers maybe in the changing rooms. The outdoor rinse station is helpful, but it does not provide enough privacy or allow guests to properly rinse off after being in the river. Overall, it was a wonderful family adventure!

Our family of 11 had a great time rafting with River Riders. We had 6 in one raft with Alex and 5 in another raft with Brady, they did a great job of keeping us together. They are very experienced guides and very personable as well, it was everybody's favorite excursion on our vacation.

Went on the whitewater tubing trip when the water was low and the temperatures were high, and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful way to spend the day with friends and family while enjoying a little adventure and time on the water. The staff was friendly, organized, and the whole operation ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Even as experienced paddlers, we really appreciated being able to relax and enjoy the trip without worrying about logistics or shuttle coordination. Paddling the tubes was a blast and made for the perfect mini adventure. Highly recommend!

We stayed at River Riders campground and also did a rafting trip with this company. It was a fantastic experience all around! Check-in was smooth and the people were friendly. The campground was well maintained and the crew was attentive to our needs when we asked for help. We arrived at our site and it was missing a picnic table, but a quick call to the office and they got us a table. We also did a rafting trip, Jeff was our guide, and he was phenomenal. He was familiar with the flora and fauna of the area and was very accommodating to our group. We highly recommend this operation, especially if you have anybody who’s tentative about rafting or previously had bad experiences; he rebuilt our confidence after a really frightening experience elsewhere. I think we will be returning sometime in the summer to go tubing or do more rafting with this group.
