One River School of Art + Design is a national art-school franchise; its Westport location runs 90+ weekly summer camps for grades K–12 with half- and full-day sessions in studio art, digital art, design, photography, filmmaking, and portfolio development, led by practicing artists. I reccomend taking the teen art shuffle with the teacher Ashley. It teaches fine art and creative independence. The teacher has helped me grow as an artist while letting me keep creative freedom. Overall I would always reccomend people to check out One River if they are looking to become a better artist.

Their portfolio class, which he started in his Junior year, helped so much when it came to applying to colleges where a portfolio was an admissions requirement. I highly recommend it for anyone that has a student looking to attend an school that specializes in the Arts. One River has helped my son grow as an artist in so many ways. The staff and the other students are so supportive of each other. One River has become like a second home for my son and we truly could not be happier with our experience.
★★★★★AJOne River is awesome!!! Their adult classes and workshops are great! The projects are everything from pastel still lifes, to collages, to watercolor landscapes. You will never be bored! Also, the staff is so welcoming and highly knowledgeable! And to me (most importantly), they all seem to WANT to be there. They really love helping people succeed in their art and they want you to feel inspired. And the best part is that you don't need any supplies!! Just show up ready to create :)
