★Afi BashirI have been a resident of Oak park for a very long time and this inconvenience is an issue. The fact that there is only 1 room available for a kids party is crazy. The room offered could not even accommodate the games that we wanted to play for the children. It is not fair for it to be limited to 1 room just because it is a kids party. As long as a person has the funds and the space is available it should be able to be rented for any allowed event. The person that answered the phone did not know the measurements of the room offered so that was not very helpful either.

★Rubi RhodesDirector Laurie Stasiak is very rude I don’t understand how she was selected to be the director and serve on the recreation commissions, we as a black community has to do better and vote, cause racism is in these people of power. Soon I’m going to have to start going door to door cause a change is needed. My family whom rented space shouldn’t have to hear the workers complain about us saying why these type of folks always dancing and playing music… ITS A PARTY DUHHH
