Powered by GoogleCompared to other YMCA facilities I've visited, I prefer this location for the following reasons: - The women's locker room has better lockers with keypad access. - One-touch coffee machines offer a variety of beverages. - The Egym setup (not offered at every YMCA location). - The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly.
This place is like Disneyland!!! By far, the best gym in Santa Clara County! Today I walked in off of the street for the first time ever. The three gentlemen that helped me get all signed up were incredibly warm and kind. They really seem to want you to have a fun experience just based on the incredibly friendly disposition of the staff. How am I just learning about this place? They have an amazing heated indoor pool that feels like walking into a warm tropical Hawaiian beach. They have a vast inventory of all the usual cardio and free weights but, they also have some digital, interactive circuit training equipment that I've never seen before and, I've been around. Outdoor workout area, The tour was impressive to say the least. INCLUDED FREE WITH MEMBERSHIP: -All the group classes you can imagine including a group Yoga class that people say is unbeatable -Personal trainers to help you learn and meet your goals -Lifeguards at the pool! Whaaaat? I could keep going but this is getting a bit ridiculous for a MAPS review If you have little kids, this place is a must try! The key takeaway here (aside from steller employees) is one word... clean. This place was spotless. I swear you could eat off the floor in the locker rooms. The equipment was sooooo CLEAN! THIS PLACE IS THE CLEANEST GYM IN THE AREA! That really says a lot to me... in my opinion
Today at 7:30 pm at the YMCA Cupertino, a disappointing incident occurred. I was really upset by what happened. I'm a mother of a 4-year-old son, and after 4 years of being a mom, I finally prioritized my health and exercise. A friend suggested the YMCA, and the kid drop-off facility sounded like a win-win situation for me, so I joined. This was my third day at the YMCA. I dropped my child in the kids' room and went to the gym. After 15 minutes, a lady named xyz called me and asked where I was. I said I was in the gym, and she said she couldn't see me. I asked why, and she said I had used my 90 minutes in the morning, so I couldn't use it again. I told her that wasn't possible, as I hadn't gone in the morning. She insisted that I had, and even said my child confirmed it. I asked to see proof, and she said they had scanned the paper and discarded it. I asked her to check with the front desk and review the cameras to see if I was there. She was very unprofessional and kept accusing me of being there in the morning and she saw me. After working an 8-hour shift, my child and I came to the YMCA, and this is the experience we had. I went to the front desk, and they confirmed I hadn't checked in that morning. The woman's behavior was unacceptable, and I'm still upset about it. I wasted my time and couldn't exercise in peace due to the chaos.
Kim and Tanya lead and run this place really well. My family - me, my wife, 2 daughters, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Y at Saratoga. The staff is very well trained. The facility is clean and professional. The pool is exceptional. Our favorite part is the kids' club. My kidos love how much the teachers there care for them. They are treated like family. We are grateful for this facility and everything we experience here.
Great yoga instructor and dance class. Very nice staff and welcoming friendly members. Also this location and the San Jose are the only that I've found that have the best ab machine where you push it forward rather than to the side or from the back.
