Kids Dojo runs mountain-biking summer day camps for kids ages 8-14 across several Bay Area locations, teaching riding skills, bike mechanics, trail etiquette, and beginning racing basics. Weeklong (five-day) sessions are capped around 12 riders and ride varied trails and pump tracks, meeting each child at their ability level. Kids Dojo is an amazing program! My son has been fortunate enough to attend the camp in Santa Cruz two summers in a row and he had the time of his life. He has come home a more confident rider and human. The Coaches are awesome and great examples for the kiddos and the Director, Rob deeply cares and is in it to make a difference in the lives of kids. Appreciate you all!!!
This camp came to a park I was at and it didn’t seem like the counselors weren’t paying attention to the kids and were not teaching them popular etiquette making it unsafe for the kids and other riders at the park
We joined their summer camps for two times - late June and mid July. The first camp was excellent, it was well organized, staff were friendly, professional and enthusiastic. So we signed up another one and we are still in the middle of it, but this time it has not been smooth so far: the first day was hot, the place they brought kids to does NOT have water refill station, and the staff were not observant enough to notice that my kid was having a minor heat stroke due to dehydration! This is supposed to be the first thing they should pay attention to when they bring kids out during hot days! My son ended up being sick for two days. This is where I wanted to deduct the one start for. Other than this, my son had a great experience there and we would recommend this one to friends.
