The people who I have met there for the past three years to play pickleball have become my family and we usually socialize with each other a lot. We have comfortable tables that we often sit around after our pickleball sessions to chat and lunch. I do love the atmosphere at this Y and most of the workers are friendly.

Between both kids they have taken the ballet, karate, basketball, swimming lessons, and cooking classes, my son now uses the fitness center as well as my wife and I. The youth programs have been one of the largest benefits for my family. As for the staff, myself included, can be very hit or miss. I believe we all are friendly, knowledgeable, approachable people. However, there are a few who can be sarcastic 🙋🏼 (#sorrynotsorry), have attitudes, or just be having a day. We're all human. Error & miscommunication happen everywhere. As a member; I believe the facility to be a marvel. The architecture is amazing the bond with nature the building has is mesmerizing. I have been a member of the YMCA for basically my entire life. I have family that works at the YMCA outside of NYC. And I have never seen a facility as up to date, as clean and upkept as this one. As long as we as a community keep this place immaculate it will be here, beautiful and available for generations to come.
