The Northampton Center for the Arts runs ArtPlay, a summer arts program for kids ages 6-12 that mixes dance, music, drama, visual arts and collaborative play. It is offered as six one-week day-camp sessions running 9:00am-4:00pm, with each day built around an opening circle, arts "playshops", time off-site, collaborative games and group projects shared at a Friday afternoon showing. Tuition is a $325-$400 sliding scale and financial aid is available through the Center's Community Fund; the Center is at 33 Hawley Street in downtown Northampton.
