Theatre at the Mount, the community theatre of Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, runs a Broadway Bound! summer youth theatre program taking a conservatory approach to acting, music and choreography, with each group rehearsing and staging a published junior musical. The 2026 program is two weeks, Monday-Thursday, July 6-16, 9:00am-3:00pm, split into three grade bands - grades 2-4, 5-8 and 9-12 - each performing its own show on the Theatre at the Mount stage on the final day. Registration requires a permission form and immunization or physical records, and returning students get early registration in February ahead of open registration.

Saw a well directed performance of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". It was nicely choreographed and appropriately cast.

Great theater to watch shows. Next time a musical or play comes along definitely consider going

Great shows, great actors, good seating anywhere in the theater. Really great to have this theater in our area. Live theater is often much better than going to a movie.

My father first took me to Theater on the Mount in the 90's which sparked a life-long love of musical theater. The vision of the Mount along with the high quality of performances has made me a fan for life. If you haven't experienced (or your kids haven't experienced) the theater, this is the perfect affordable venue to get you started. I've been in NYC to see the hits but honestly, I hold more affection with the Mount than anywhere.

Impressive theater. It was the first time visiting. The awards presented were very well coordinated. And Congratulations to all the young performers 2019!
