My 3 kids are all Blast players and we have experienced great guidance in player development and affirmation of each player, regardless of their skill level. Work hard, play hard, and keep things positive is the attitude of the coaches. Also, to address the financial integrity attack of a previous review, we have had no issues with autopay and find the cost comparable to other soccer clubs in the area. We couldn’t be happier to invest in our kids and expand their soccer experience through the training offered by Blast.

The integrity of the poor review should be addressed.. North Oaks soccer club rewards hard work, dedication and responsibility. If you aren’t willing to put in the time and effort, it’s not the club for you. My “8 year old” has never missed a single training. She goes to extra training sessions when they are offered. I maybe have seen the child of the reviewer once or twice the whole winter season. I couldn’t even tell you what she looks like. In that case, the review should be discarded. The owner of the club puts endless hours in because he believes in teaching your kids the proper way to play soccer..it may take a couple years, but if you truly want to make this a career there is no other place to go. For that reason, I give North Oaks soccer club 5 stars.

Still a new club. Very unorganized. Mentioned it to John, the President. received a very hostile email back. They also don't have a book keeper. I was asked to pay when I had already paid. I had to get cancelled checks from my bank to prove I was paid up. Also very unprofessional, that the president would email teammates to talk about our family. John was also my oldest daughter's coach. He sat her because we asked for a scholarship through the club. Truly, if you don't pay full price, your child won't play. They're also in violation of their 501c3. John has 2 conflicts of interest with his 2 other businesses. Considering the cost to be with this club, I'm curious why they're asking for sponsors. The club doesn't have a dome or other regular use venue. it makes ya wonder, where is that money going? My youngest daughter was on a u11 team. Was a small roster so we were promised they'd recruit and get more players. They ended up getting a lot of 8 and 9 year olds who have never played soccer. What a disappointment to my daughter, whose a competitive player. It's all about numbers. John is very manipulative. I always gave him the benefit of the doubt, until he claimed we owed the club more money. Once I submitted my cancelled checks, it took weeks for him to get back to me. And with that, he decided to "write off" what we owe. What a lie!! It really made a statement when John's premier 1 team that my oldest daughter was on, decided not to come back to the club. Several of them formed their own walk on team with another club. The rest scattered over the twin cities. It's really sad that the kids suffer at the hands of those who we think we can trust. Above all the personal issues we've had, I believe this club needs to be investigated. Someone is cookin the books over there. I can't even get a legit spreadsheet of the team costs and what each family was responsible for for the 2017/18 season. No one is keeping track. Something is fishy.
