The Norman branch of the YMCA (Cleveland County Family YMCA) runs a full-summer day camp for children roughly ages 5–11, with a separate Teen Camp for ages 11–14. Days mix on-site activities with field trips to museums, amusement parks and zoos, plus swimming, skating and bowling, and families enroll by the week. Financial assistance is available and the camp is ACA-accredited.

Powered by GoogleIt doesn’t matter that ive been a Y member a long time. An old lady from this place reacted to a note that another old lady from another Y put in my file that was not true, but nobody attempted to verify. Earlywine Y stated that I entered their branch habitually without signing in, which is untrue. I signed in every day before the offended woman even got to work at 9:00. Not even proof that I paid for my membership in that season would help. They refused to let me reactivate my account because of the note. As a result I was suspended from every Y because of the jerks here who didn’t care about my side of the story saying I was causing a scene by disagreeing with them. The showers stink so bad too. One of the worst smells I’ve ever experienced.
Love this place. Great place to exercise with cardio equipment, weights, jogging track and swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
I have visited YMCAs in NY, NJ, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, and California. I have been to most of the Y's in the Greater Oklahoma City YMCA. Norman's Y is the best. The pool is always open, which is unique. There are clean towels for all! The weight room is spacious, clean and well maintained. Best of all, the staff is professional, friendly and responsive. Finally, the members are friendly and courteous.
I have been a member here since 2002. The staff has always been the best, and make the experience great, whether you are into aquatics, group classes, or working out in the gym. I enjoy my workouts here more than any other Y facilities. Thanks to the management for providing a clean facility and well-trained staff consistently over the many years I have been a member.
One of the standout features of the Norman YMCA is the sense of community it fosters. Every member, from those just starting their fitness journey to seasoned members is treated with respect and kindness. This makes the Y more than a fitness center. The YMCA has positively impacted my life in so many ways. The friendships I've formed here have enriched my life, providing me with a support system that's both uplifting and motivating. I recommend the Y to anyone looking to enhance their wellness journey and become part of a fantastic community. Thank you, Norman YMCA
