★★★★★Sonia NainNiza Tennis is a wonderful place for kids to learn the game of tennis. Coach Niza is very patient and gets to know the kids and families on a personal level. He has great knowledge about the fundamentals of tennis. He instills discipline in the kids but in a friendly way. My daughter has blossomed in this program. She is currently ranked in the top 50 and this is due to her time at Niza Tennis. She has developed warm relationships with the other players and considers them close friends. She also enjoyed the team tennis program. This allowed them to play against other tennis teams playing both singles and doubles. He also helped her with tournament selections and would often come to the tournaments to support her. I would highly recommend Niza Tennis!

The kids learn the rules and strategies of the game in a fun yet disciplined manner. He also keeps the kids respectful towards each other - learning the ideals of sportsmanship while training the kids in self-reflection and striving towards self-improvement. All great skills for life! The training facility has a small clubhouse where parents can rest and relax while waiting, or even enjoy watching the kids train. We visited other training facilities, but this has the warmest feel -- probably from Coach Niza's personal touch. We feel like he works hard to know your child and the family. Coach is personable and reachable. He helps families to learn the ropes of the game like the rules, the equipment or techniques, and to navigate the world of eventual matches and tournament play. A big part of Niza Tennis is the winter season of Junior Team Tennis (J.T.T.). After the kids build some skill and points from USTA matches (to qualify), the kids play in USTA JTT. We got to watch kids enjoy the camaraderie of cheering their classmates / teammates, and encouraging one another during challenging points or tough losses. Our kids have a lot of love and respect for Coach Niza, his wife and kids. And we love the friendship we have built up with them and the other Niza Tennis families.
