Rowe Tennis Center is the Rappahannock YMCA's indoor tennis facility at the Massad Family YMCA in Fredericksburg, with four indoor courts plus the adjoining Jon Fried Outdoor Complex of four lighted tennis and four pickleball courts. Its Summer Tennis Mini Camp is a half-day week running 10am to 1pm for children ages 5 to 17, with no experience needed and campers grouped by age and skill; each day covers a warm-up and skill of the day, a lunch and snack break, an extra activity and tennis games. Seven separate weeks run from June through July at $150 per week for YMCA members and $195 for nonmembers, with open enrollment online. The Y also runs age-banded junior programs year-round, from Short Shots for ages 4-6 through Junior Tennis Development for ages 11-18 and a tournament training track.
