Fairfax Racquet Club has run a junior tennis program and summer camp since 1976, serving ages 5-18 from beginner to nationally ranked players. Summer, spring-break and holiday tennis mini-camps are grouped by the USTA red/orange/green/yellow low-compression ball progression, which scales court size, racquet size and ball speed to each player's age and size rather than to ability level. Players are placed by size, prior experience and athleticism, and the club also runs fall/winter junior classes at each ball level.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Fairfax Racquet Club directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleThe workout facility has rusted weight machines. The indoor tennis facilities are nice but membership is nearly $700 for tennis sessions once a week and you cannot choose tennis partners and was not challenging. Finally was charged nearly $77 per session following membership cancellation after 4 sessions!
I love playing tennis indoors at Fairfax Racquet Club. There are great programs for all ages and levels. The facility has updated lights, ceilings, and nets recently. The staff is friendly and committed to supporting local tennis.
Fairfax Racquet Club is one of the best facilities in the area for anyone serious about their game. Having 12 indoor courts is a game changer, especially during the busy winter months. The courts are kept in excellent condition with a consistent surface, and the lighting is bright and even, so you never lose track of the ball. I also really appreciate the sufficient seating areas available for spectators; it’s a comfortable setup whether you are there to play or just watching a match. Clean, professional, and highly recommended for local players!
FRC has two locations: Fairfax and Annandale. Annandales location is definitely the preferred location as it has a very impressive facility and better competition. This Fairfax FRC’s ceilings are too low and there’s only 3 full size courts available so it’s not ideal if you want to play with many people. The facility is a retail space renovated to be a pickleball facility and will feel that way.
We are huge fans of this club. Our journey began years ago with trying out their junior summer camp. The staff were wonderful to work with and facility has great upkeep, so we eventually signed up as members. The membership folks (esp Leslie) as well as the other staff (Doris, Andrew, Tom, etc.) are always friendly & professional. Can't say enough good things!!
