Niantic Bay Yacht Club in East Lyme runs its junior summer sailing program through the nonprofit Niantic Bay Sailing Academy, serving children and teens ages 7–17 of all levels across an 8-week season from beginning sailing to competitive racing. Scholarships are offered for students in the New London, Waterford, East Lyme, and Lyme-Old Lyme school districts.
