Newk's is the junior tennis camp at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch, a 31-court facility (27 hard, 4 clay) in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio. Campers ages 8 to 18 at every level get 5 to 6 hours of daily instruction at a 1:5 or 1:6 coach-to-camper ratio, with dedicated match-play days plus soccer, swim parties, dances and talent shows off the court. Weeklong overnight sessions run from late May through mid-August and campers may enroll for one week or several; a commuter rate is offered for local families who attend by day. The ranch has camper-style accommodations, a weight room, soccer field, basketball court and pool.
