The San Antonio Tennis Association is a nonprofit community tennis association that runs low-cost NJTL (National Junior Tennis and Learning) summer camps at McFarlin Tennis Center and at La Vernia, East Central and SW Legacy high schools. Sessions are half-day or evening rather than full-day — 9 a.m. to noon at McFarlin and La Vernia, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at SW Legacy, and 6 to 8 p.m. at East Central — and are sold in two-week blocks ($60 to $100) or monthly blocks ($180) across June and July. Camps take ages 4 to 18 depending on the site and pair tennis instruction with confidence, teamwork and leadership activities. SATA also runs Junior Team Tennis, year-round NJTL clinics and holiday camps.
