The Tennis Park at Whispering Oaks is a family tennis club in north central San Antonio that runs summer tennis camps in weekly sessions from June 1 through early August, with campers grouped by age and ability into elementary, middle and high school divisions. The full-day camp for grades 1-12 runs Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at $370 a week: on-court instruction 9-10:30, snack and shade break, point and game play until noon, then lunch and a supervised walk to the neighborhood pool for free swim with two lifeguards until 3 p.m. The half-day camp for K-12th grade runs 9 a.m.-noon at $320 a week and focuses on drills, games and skill development; four-year-olds with prior experience are considered. Early drop-off from 7:30 a.m. ($70/week) and late stay to 5 p.m. ($85/week) are available, lunch can be added for $60 a week, and there is a 10% discount for four or more weeks and 5% for siblings.
