Powered by GoogleSuper friendly staff and well maintained facility. Would definitely return again.
Learning how to swim has always been something I wanted to do but just couldn’t overcome the fear of water. Finding the courage at the WestSide YMCA alongside the instructors Adam & Abby is the real reason why I can swim today! They were both very patient, passionate and maintained professionalism the entire time. Thank you both for doing what you do because my confidence in water is boosted. Cispin thank you for teaching my 7 year old son as well, I can see he is getting better and gained some great strides. You all are awesome, I can actually swim! Thank you again team!
Nice facility, not crowded in the morning. Staff are friendly and helpful. I visited here on my vacation (from Virginia), and had no issues. Quiet older crowd in the morning, so no wait lines for equipment...especially heavier weights. Equipment is fairly new and well kept. The facility is well cared for. Showers could use some cleaning and decaying. The locker rooms are large, not crowded, and showers are private. No sauna, hot top or steam room, but plenty of equipment, a basketball gym and pool and great, friendly people.
Great place for the entire community. My grand children attended 3 days a week for several weeks due to school being out during the Summer. A really good vibe. They had so much fun. During the morning and afternoon they were offered, fun activities, like swimming and classes it was a very good investment at a very low price!
It's OK. A lot of the employees there don't care about the place. That "maintenance" guy is never doing ANYTHING. Its always us customers having to sweep the gym just to make sure we don't slip. He literally gives us the broom so that we can sweep up ourselves. I've also seen him give the young people there a hard time. That bike that's parked outside makes it look trashy and to hood. Fights break out and the employees have no clue what to do. They stand there in shock. I see a lot of followers employed there. No leaders there, all sheep. That "maintenance" guy walks around like he owns the place. I'm surprised that no one has knocked him out yet.
