Nice Golf and Tennis Club open to the public in SW Austin.

★★★★John Luikart

I love Grey Rock tennis club. The staff is friendly, the courts are nice and fairly priced. The pro shop has everything you need. Only down sides are no water on the courts and it can be hard to find an available court. Update: Water is available on courts just in time for summer! Still very difficult to get a court at a desirable time, even a week out.

The courts are great. You have to pay to use them, and you should reserve ahead of time, but otherwise the courts are kept well.

I love this Austin tennis club. Super low key. Well run. Convenient to where I live. Well used but not overrun with demand. They have eight courts, all well maintained. Their simple pro shop is a trailer with a porch. There is an app you can use to book. They offer tennis lessons and clinics for adults and kids. Our kids have done the clinics and the coaches are nice. And I love booking a court with the ball machine to try and get better plus get a workout in - I am always cranking the ball shot speed up the more I do it, and setting it so I have to run around.

Decent layout that was lessened by poor green conditions and overall poor course conditions. Heard it was recently purchased by the city and it appears it is going g to end up just another average muni.
