My Nature Lab
Private
My Nature Lab is the education facility of the Center for Snake Conservation, a nonprofit, and houses more than 200 reptiles and amphibians across roughly 70 species. Its summer offerings include Critter Camp, which pairs a session handling and feeding animals at the lab with a session searching for local species at a nearby open space; Field Biologists Camp, an outdoor program where kids spend mornings surveying habitats for reptiles and amphibians as field scientists do; and a four-day Adventure Overnight Camp that travels through northeastern Colorado and southwestern Nebraska with two nights camping at Enders Reservoir. Camps require an application and a deposit.

Powered by GoogleMy Nature Lab is the perfect place for a kids day activity!! The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. It was so much fun getting to learn / meet / safely handle the reptiles. My 4 year old daughter spent 4 hours here and enjoyed every second!
We recently had My Nature Lab visit our preschool for an on-site field trip, and it was a wonderful experience! Maggie brought a variety of reptiles and came fully prepared to teach and engage the children in a meaningful way. Our students absolutely loved the experience — they were able to safely touch and hold the reptiles, which made learning exciting and memorable. Maggie was fantastic with the children. She was patient, kind, and explained concepts in ways that were easy for preschoolers to understand. She created space for their curiosity, welcomed questions, and helped students who felt a little apprehensive or nervous feel comfortable and included. Communication leading up to the visit was clear and easy, making the entire process smooth from start to finish. I would highly recommend My Nature Lab for any preschool or school looking for an engaging, educational, and hands-on learning experience.
My nature lab is a really cool place where you can hold, learn about, and sometimes feed reptiles. They now offer free story times on Wednesday and Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. My nature lab is all about conservation and education. My nature lab also offers birthday party packages, critter camps for days off school, and summer camps. The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and fun.
This place is unbelievable!! We have hosted 3 birthday parties here and every singe one has been amazing for kids and adults alike! Cameron and Lyndsey are knowledgeable, professional and extremely engaging. The lab is run with a healthy respect for the animals who call it home. Truly a living classroom. Highly recommend!
This place is an adventure as well as an educational experience. Come to hold the lizards and snakes and leave having learned a lot about them as well. Cameron who owns the business is very enthusiastic about educating people and kids about the environments, find habits and most anything you want to know about the creatures here. He also his outdoor adventures where you can see and experience the animals and snakes of Colorado in their native environments too. So cool!
