Mismanaged cash grab. They will take any kids during tryout as long as you are willing to pay. Then they create two teams. We will call these teams A team and B team. The most skilled players will be placed on the A team and the B team will get the left over. In many of the games the B team did not even have enough players to play a game! Coaches do not show up to the games they send random coaches to games depending on which coach is in the area. There are many other areas of concern in this league that need to be addressed. My son used to love soccer and it got to the point where he did not want to attend pratice or games. I do not recommend Murrieta Soccer Academy.

No actual training at practice . Just scrimmaging of younger teams-no skills unless you attend the xtra skills training-which is mostly the younger kids. Olders training on small dirt field with small goals -or no goal-meanwhile small kids on the turf with big goals. Toxic coaching/yelling at players’ mistakes is not coaching. Los alamos Parking lot is a NIGHTMARE for new young drivers. Adjusting practice by just minutes would help but coaches don’t care.

We had just moved to Murrieta and I registered my son to play in the B2010 team in August. Team played the entire season going without a win other than 1 win to a low flight team in state cup. There was no attempt by the coach to come up with a concrete plan to improve the team defensively despite conceding at average of over 6 goals per game. We were told by the coach he would have film review with the.boys prior and this never happened. Developmental plan review which was promised never occurred. Team is enrolled to play Flight 1 with no goalkeeper other than a couple of kids trying to help out. To top it off in January the club just states they will not play the spring league and stops the team playing in January after having paid 1800 to play for a season. Note I only found this out from another parent when I asked about when do spring games start. Note the B2009 team also conceded 142 goals in 16 games...not a misprint 142... In summary this club lures people with the talk of MLS next without substance or any adequate coaching and team management. Lesson learnt please take your kid to another club in the area who.truly care about your kids progression and not just your money. 2 stars only because my son enjoyed the kids in his team.

Brought my daughter to try out, obvious from the minute you get here that unless you've had your child here from a young age they will never make the team. Nothing against the girls, but this is not a place for kids with limited experience to play or develop. Coaches seem very biased, conversations can be heard about players already on the team regardless of tryouts.

My daughter went to try outs but the coaches were clearly biased to the girls they had trained privately (not disclosed on the website). We could hear parents and coaches talking about how kids were already preselected and that they were even paying families to bring their kids here. The tryouts were just for show and clearly shut out newcomers, waste of time for anyone who didn't bring their child at an early age. It was sad to the girls because they made it so obvious. We wanted a chance for our daughter to get better, this isn't the place. They only want to accumulate the best players, whether it be out of state or otherwise.
