MSA & Circus Arts runs weekly circus day camps for ages 6-15 at its Chicago center on North Campbell Avenue, designed by professional circus artists and trainers. Campers train across aerial silks and lyra, trampoline, tumbling, handstands, juggling, flexibility and contortion, blended with dance, theater and acrobatics, and the day also builds in snack, lunch and supervised free play on the apparatuses. Camps are sold by the week from June through late August at roughly $470 a week, with discounts for booking three, four or seven weeks and aftercare available. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and camps fill fast, so early registration is recommended.

Loved my first handstand class! The teacher catered the instruction and tips for each student to support and strengthen the individual capabilities.

MSA offers week long camps during the summer as well as during the school year at breaks. My child loves going to their camps. They learn real skills, and have fun. I’m so proud of what my child has accomplished at this camp. The instructors are top, and if you are looking for a summer camp for your kid, this is a great option. It is a both physical as well as creative and artistic, great for kids at any level of physical strength.

This camp far exceeded our expectations. My 6 and 7 year olds would come home each day excited to talk about the fun games they played or new equipment they learned to use. What was exceptional IMO was the week-end performance where the students showcased their new skills. It was a lovely experience for the kids and they say they want to come back again!

I recently had the pleasure of watching my daughter participate in aerial gymnastics, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment she stepped onto the mat, her enthusiasm and passion for the sport were evident. The combination of strength, flexibility, and creativity showcased in her routines was truly impressive. I was amazed at how effortlessly she moved through the air, performing flips and spins with grace. The supportive atmosphere of the class allowed her to push her limits and grow in confidence with each session. Not only has aerial gymnastics helped her improve her physical abilities, but it has also fostered a sense of discipline and determination. I can see how much she enjoys the challenge and the camaraderie with her fellow gymnasts. Overall, I highly recommend aerial gymnastics for children. It is a fantastic way to stay active, build strength, and have fun!
